What is the difference between WECOLOUR shampoo and other shampoos

What is the main difference between WECOLOUR shampoo and other shampoos? WECOLOUR shampoo does not contain sulphates, silicones and parabens. The actual surfactants in a shampoo are responsible for cleansing the hair. When you wash your hair, not only dust, dirt and dander are removed, but also the natural protective layer that keeps your hair and scalp healthy. The art of a good shampoo is to cleanse the hair without degreasing or damaging it too much.

Which substances you don't want in your shampoo

One ingredient that is not mild is sulphate. Not only is it aggressive to your hair, it is also aggressive to your scalp and body. The most common are Ammonium Lauryl/Laureth Sulphate and Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulphate, SLS for short. SLS stays in your body for up to five days after washing and can be harmful to your health. Aggressive sulphates are easily recognised by the amount of foam created during washing. Many people think that a good shampoo should mainly lather. However, nothing could be further from the truth. Strongly foaming shampoos mainly harm your scalp. They not only remove dirt, but also the natural oils. The result: your hair becomes drier and more brittle.

In addition, you want to avoid silicones in your shampoo. Silicones put a layer around your hair, making your hair look better and healthier. There are two types of silicones: water-soluble and non-water-soluble silicones. Water-soluble silicones are often preferred because you can wash them out with water. Non-water-soluble silicones need to be washed out with a sulphate shampoo, which in turn results in dry hair. Ultimately, too much use of silicones leads to oily and 'heavy' hair. Parabens are superb preservatives and there is uncertainty about their harmfulness. However, they are often associated with allergic reactions and skin rashes and, more importantly, hormone-disrupting properties.

PH value

The pH value is also important. The pH value of WECOLOUR shampoo is 4, perfect for dyed hair. If a shampoo's pH is right (between 3 and 5.5), the hair cuticles flatten. This is good for your hair and the colour pigment and makes your hair shiny, well-hydrated and smooth and strong. It is also well protected. If your hair cuticles lie smooth, they are less likely to break, frizz less and your hair is less likely to break and split. Your hair is then also better protected from chalky water and more resilient. A good pH value (<5.5) is also important for your scalp. The hydration of your skin is then in order. Dandruff and dandruff and other scalp disorders then have less chance.

So, what is in our shampoo?

So, what is in our shampoo that makes a difference. First, the quality of the ingredients makes a difference. Many shampoo brands advertise with argan oil, jojoba or aloe vera, but when analysed, only a minimal percentage of these substances are found. The result: the shampoo cleanses, but does little or nothing to moisturise. WECOLOUR shampoo contains high-quality ingredients with moisturising properties. The shampoo is also much more concentrated, so you need less and can therefore use it longer. It contains perfume, but very little.

Conclusion: we are looking for a balance between a fine shampoo and conditioner, as pure as possible, that gently cleanses and conditions hair. As a set with WECOLOUR conditioner, you pay €29.70 instead of €33.00.
