What does your hair colour say about your personality?

What does your hair colour say about your personality?

Your hair colour says more about your personality than you might think. For example, blondes have more fun, red represents temperament and a brown or black hair colour has something mysterious....

Blondes have more fun!

We probably all know this statement. But besides fun, when we think of blondes, we often think of femininity. Look at Marilyn Monroe and Bridget Bardot, for example; these women were super feminine with beautiful blonde locks. Not for nothing are men thought to prefer blonde hair. With blonde hair, we also think of the phrase "dumb blonde," but are blondes also less intelligent? Research has shown that blonde women are not less intelligent than women with dark hair. This myth comes from the days of black and white movies; in this era, blonde actresses came across better on screen because of the colour contrast, and often these were not the most intelligent film characters.

Red stands for temperament

When we think of red, we often think of passion. And so do we with red hair. Red is different, striking and out of the ordinary. This hair colour sends a strong message. However, we don't see a lot of natural red, worldwide only 1% of the population has red hair. This colour is also a very popular hair colour for dyeing. You can do all sorts of things with red and vary the colour. At WECOLOUR you can choose from four different shades of red, such as copper red light brown (6.64) or mahogany red dark brown (4.65). And how about copper dark blonde (7.4)? All colors can be mixed with each other, creating a unique look. Do you dare?

Brown/black is mysterious

Women with dark locks are often seen as intelligent, are more likely to be hired for job applications and are creative. And while it is often thought that men find women with blonde hair more attractive, this turns out not to be the case. A recently published study found that 60% of men find brown hair most attractive. Having brown locks is also seen as reliable. Black hair, on the other hand, is more associated with impenetrability and mystique. In the Netherlands, brown is the most common hair color; about 45 percent of women have natural brown hair. Globally, black hair color is the most represented.

Can you identify with these descriptions? And does your hair color fit your personality? Or will you be dyeing your locks from now on?
